I had a rather obscure dream almost a week ago now (I think... how do you tell with dreams?) and somehow I was in Japan, on my own. But for some reason a lot of people I knew from Hymers were also kicking about and I was helping them out because I knew my way around. I think it must have been Osaka, but I really don't know.
Anyway, I didn't have my camera with me... or maybe something else important (my laptop?) too. Given my current mindset this sort of ruined the whole experience... it'd sort of be sort of like going car racing, but without a car. A bit of a let down, regardless of how amazing the place, people and atmosphere is.
I think maybe it had something to do with me eyeing up these new LowePro Slingshot bags... I've been thinking about those quite a bit and how excellent they might be if you're travelling with camera kit. If you got a decent sized one it could serve as an all-purpose bag, enough to fit at least one body, a couple of lenses and a few t-shirts, shorts, jeans and a jumper. I think after the last trip with my super-sized bag I reckon I could safely cut it down quite a lot... if I could limit my t-shirt acquisition habit.
But... I'm going off-topic. I'm in Japan, without a camera. And it's crap, really. How stupid, most amazing place in the world and because you've not got a camera with you you'd rather be at home, or something. baka baka baka.
