The problem I have is that the Location module has no straightforward API for updating nodes. The choices are either: manually insert data into the tables or rewrite some parts of the Location module and hope that the developer likes them. Either way, it should be relatively straightforward to finish off. It already mostly works. I’ve done all of the Exif parsing.
