The T-Mobile one didn't work for me (I'm trying to do it with Orange in Poland), but the Vodafone one worked, it's at http://www.business.vodafone.com/site/bus/public/enuk/p_software_tscs15.jsp and I found it by Googling for "Bytemobile Optimisation Client download". It seems like it's a standard bit of software written by Bytemobile, which certain carriers customise.

I did come across a perl script that might work on linux, as well as a .net program someone wrote - but neither worked for me. I wonder if we can get our hands on the protocol, to write our own clients. I for one would like a client for Android, so I can control the compression on my phone - I was trying to download wallpapers and they all looked crap due to the compression. Though I'm only in Poland for a month as of now, so I don't think it's worth me trying to write one.
